Megan’s therapeutic approach is grounded in the HAES (Health At Every Size) philosophy, advocating for the belief that all bodies deserve love, care, and respect. Megan is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and utilizes a combination of DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) and mindfulness practices to individually tailor her treatment approach; She believes every client is unique and their treatment should be too!

Megan is a firm believer that building a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients is the foundational path to growth and healing. Clients can expect to utilize therapy sessions to address their needs in the moment whether it be through learning new and adaptive ways to regulate emotions and cope with stressors, adjusting to life transitions, exploring identity, enhancing relationships and communication skills, processing trauma, etc. She is committed to creating a safe, nonjudgemental space that fosters empathy and compassion, so that her clients feel empowered to explore their emotional processes and work towards living a life that feels authentic to them. Megan recognizes that creating this space also requires her to show up as her authentic self in the therapy space. She loves to do this by utilizing her own lived experiences and sense of humor.

Getting to Know Megan

In addition to being a therapist, I’m also a proud auntie to five awesome nieces and nephews who keep me on my toes. Born and raised in the Northeast suburbs, I’m a Philly girl through and through with a deep love for family and pride for my city. I thrive in the warmer months, spending as much time as I can outdoors, whether it’s going for long nature walks or traveling to new destinations. My next big adventure? Eating my way through Italy! Another random fact is that I am a huge animal lover. Though I’m not a pet owner at the moment, I can’t wait to be the best dog or cat mom someday! When I’m not in the office, you’ll usually find me spending time with family and friends, trying out new restaurants, playing at the park with my nieces and nephews, or catching a Phillies game. Go Birds!
