About Us

Bucks ESC is directed by Dr. Heidi Dalzell, Clinical Psychologist along with Dr. Stacy Hunt, Clinical Psychologist, and Leah Frazee, Registered Dietitian. The program is unique in providing individual therapy by doctoral and master’s level therapists, many of whom are also Certified Eating Disorder Specialists (CEDS/CED-S), active board members on the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), and speak nationally on Eating Disorder topics.
Our therapists and dieticians have many years of Eating Disorder experience and expertise in treating children, adolescents and adults. We provide evidence-based care for all eating disorders, and serve all genders. Family support is an integral part of our approach, and we can provide FBT where appropriate (Family Based Therapy). Our providers work within a Body Positive model, promoting acceptance of all bodies. We follow an All Paths To Recovery philosophy, meeting the client where they are to support their healing. Our lenses may include Health At Every Size (HAES), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-Eating (CBT-E) and Intuitive Eating. Our facility is ADA accessible and inviting for all bodies and genders.
Individual Outpatient Services:

Bucks Eating Support Collaborative provides individual therapy, family therapy, nutrition and group sessions in an outpatient setting. Bucks ESC therapists provide high quality care for adults and adolescents dealing with and recovering from eating disorders while they are trying to promote stability and structure in their lives. Bucks ESC utilizes a team-based approach which integrates all aspects of recovery for clients with co-occurring disorders, such as addiction, anxiety and depression. Bucks ESC cliniciaans also incorporate mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), family support and experiential work with a focus on supporting healthier body image and intuitive eating.
